 DAY 1

Arrive at your hotel and check in with our friendly staff. In the evening, you can explore the town of West Yellowstone right from your room. Our property is within walking distance to shops, restaurants and activities. After a delicious dinner, you can enjoy a live play at the Playmill Theater or learn about Yellowstone’s history and fascinating geological wonders at the Yellowstone IMAX Theater.

DAY 2

Make your way to the West Gate to be amazed by Yellowstone’s most famous features. Make your way through the west entrance to Madison Junction and turn right. Soon after you will see a sign for Firehole Canyon drive, this is a don’t-miss waterfall drive. On your way to Old Faithful, you will see many pullouts with geysers, boiling pots, as well as the Grand Prismatic (Midway Geyser Basin). After taking your time touring this area, make your way to Old Faithful for lunch at the Old Faithful Inn. Enjoy the exhibits at the Old Faithful visitor’s center before grabbing a spot for the perfect view of Old Faithful. You may also hike along the many boardwalks and trails around the area. Next, make you way to the Lake Yellowstone Hotel at Yellowstone Lake for a huckleberry ice cream. Take in the alluring views of Yellowstone Lake. Just a few miles down the road, stop at Fishing Bridge to walk across the Yellowstone River. On your way back to West Yellowstone, you will drive through Hayden Valley, a great opportunity for wildlife sightings.

 DAY 3

Book your morning Whitewater Rafting adventure with Montana Whitewater Company. After your rafting adventure, explore the world-famous ski area of Big Sky. Continue south to 320 Guest Ranch for an afternoon horseback ride and chuckwagon dinner.

 DAY 4

Wake up early and get a quick breakfast at Ernie’s Deli and a boxed lunch to go before spending your day in Yellowstone National Park. The first stop will be Norris Geyser Basin. Stroll the boardwalks of Yellowstone’s hottest, oldest and most dynamic of thermal areas. Continue to Mammoth Hot Springs to visit the newly renovated visitor centre and enjoy your picnic lunch. Moving on to Tower Falls, you will see amazing wildlife and breathtaking views. Last stop of the day will be Artist’s Point for spectacular views of the Grand Canyon of the Yellowstone. Head back to the west entrance and enjoy award-winning pizza at Wild West Pizzeria and then rest up for the next day.

 DAY 5

Choose your own morning adventure. Canoe the crystal-clear Cliff and Wade Lakes while you enjoy the picturesque scenery and wildlife. For a thrilling adventure, rent an ATV for the morning and journey to the top of Two Top Mountain for astonishing views of the Tetons or maybe check out Big Gun Fun for a real wild west experience. Historians may enjoy a visit to Yellowstone Historic Center or the ghost towns of Virginia and Nevada city and stop by the Earthquake Lake Visitor’s Center on your way back to town. After lunch, you may choose to revisit your favorite spots in Yellowstone for photo opportunities or hiking. You may rent a bike for a leisurely afternoon ride or visit the Grizzly and Wolf Discovery Center for a chance to uniquely experience the world of grizzly bears and grey wolves. Relax at the Madison Crossing Lounge for a cocktail and fabulous dinner.
